| I think the Nixon Community and the Centennial Committee did
a great job for this celebration. We attended the last weekend and
really enjoyed everything! It was a special treat to see so many
friends and visit the places where I grew up. The food, parade, open
house, and football game were all wonderful. Please pass this along
to everyone who contributed.

A short note to express my gratitude to you as the Chairperson, all committee members and the Honorable Mayor Don Chessher for all your hard work in making Nixon’s Centennial a great success. I had a fantastic time visiting with many of my childhood friends and their families from years ago. I was so happy to see the many smiles coming from the faces of so many people from Nixon and the surrounding areas. IT WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST EVENTS I HAVE EVER WITNESSED! THIS ONCE IN A LIFE TIME CELEBRATION WILL GO DOWN IN THE RECORD BOOKS FOR NIXON,TEXAS.I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN. THANK YOU GUYS FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL TIME.KEEP UP THE SPIRIT AND MAY MANY MORE EVENTS LIKE THIS ONE COME IN THE FUTURE.IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT FOR ME HAVING GROWN UP IN THIS SMALL BUT AMAZING TOWN OF NIXON. THEIR WAS A GLOW HERE IN NIXON I HADN'T SEEN IN A LONG LONG TIME.THANK ALL OF YOU RESPONSIBLE FOR SUCH A SUCCESSFUL EVENT.
