At 7:00 p.m., all homes and businesses will turn on white lights (icicle type) all over town to the sound of church bells ringing and fire sirens blowing for a full five minutes. This will signify the official beginning of the celebration. The lights will be on every evening throughout the week serving as a symbolic beacon to all former residents and relatives, calling them home….the light is in the window  WELCOME HOME!
